If you’re using GenAI to build and scale up a game into production, the amount of data generated is astronomical. Think terabytes of log data a day with hundreds of thousands of users playing per second. And, the content requires real-time streaming. All user behaviors are tracked and observed. What type of key stroke is each player making? How fast is the mouse moving? Where are players located? Which devices are they using? For the best quality of experience (QoE), that data needs to be captured, correlated, and analyzed. It’s the only way to spot incidents preemptively, before players are impacted.
On its show, “Let’s Build a Start Up,” AWS interviewed Hydrolix VP of Product David Sztykman and Hydrolix Partner Manager Rory McVicar about using genAI to build games and why observability is vital for improving QoE. Watch the show to learn more about how AWS built a murder mystery game using AI, which included AWS Amplify, AWS AppSync, Amazon Bedrock, Amazon DynamoDB, and Amazon EventBridge, and why real-time data ingestion, correlation, querying and analyzation is critical for spotting and fixing incidents fast, before users’ QoE is impacted.
