Hydrolix has been named to Inc.’s 2026 Regionals: Pacific list, recognizing the fastest-growing private companies across California, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii, and Alaska. Over the past two years, the company expanded from four customers to more than 650 globally, and from 40 employees to over 200.

Hydrolix solves a critical issue for major enterprises: providing real-time, full-fidelity data at massive scale without gaps in visibility or costs that break the budget. With traditional data platforms, businesses are often forced to choose between their data and the bottom line. The bottom line usually wins, leading to issues like heavily-sampled data, short retention windows, and archived data that can’t be accessed easily.

The downstream consequences are significant: outages that take longer to fix, security incidents that go undetected, and business decisions made on incomplete information. These issues can lead to unhappy customers, reputational damage, and lower revenue.

With Hydrolix, you get real-time and historical analytics on massive data, all while keeping costs much lower than traditional data analytics platforms. That’s why Hydrolix is a trusted solution for some of the biggest businesses and live events in the world. Whether it’s Black Friday or the Super Bowl, Hydrolix consistently delivers the scale required for operations teams to monitor their infrastructure and find and fix issues.

With solutions like CDN Insights and Bot Insights, Hydrolix delivers prebundled tools that can help enterprises quickly get visibility into their CDN infrastructure and how bot traffic is impacting their end users and revenue.

Hydrolix delivers sub-second performance on precision queries even on petabyte-scale data, with compression that reduces storage costs by up to 98% compared to conventional approaches. Organizations can retain full, unsampled data over long time horizons and still query years of history in seconds. Security teams can more easily threat-hunt and detect low-and-slow attacks. Operations teams have everything they need to quickly find and fix issues and then complete incident post-mortems. Meanwhile, leadership and business intelligence teams can use a data-driven approach to make decisions on mission-critical initiatives like capacity planning and generating new revenue streams.

The founding team built Hydrolix out of direct experience with the challenges of massive data. CEO Marty Kagan co-founded Cedexis, a CDN observability company where storing and querying real-time data became the second-largest operating expense. That cost pressure was the founding rationale for Hydrolix, a platform built around the economics of massive data from the start. This is in contrast to legacy platforms that struggle to handle data at scale.

The company’s recent funding reflects the same momentum as the Inc. recognition. Hydrolix closed an $80 million Series C in April 2025, following a $35 million Series B in May 2024. Customers include Fortune 500 companies and several of the world’s largest content delivery networks. Hydrolix also powers TrafficPeak, an observability solution on Akamai Connected Cloud.Learn more about Hydrolix.
