Hydrolix just rolled out an enhancement to our AWS Marketplace offering that’s going to transform how customers access and manage our data analytics platform. We’re excited to share what this means for both existing and potential users!

Now it’s quick, frictionless, and easy to purchase and deploy Hydrolix for AWS. And with a free trial, you can ensure you’re making the right decision for your business before you buy.

Get started by going to our Hydrolix for AWS page. You can select options to try free with AWS or buy with AWS—and get started in minutes.

Automated Onboarding: Say Goodbye to Lengthy Setup Times

With our new AWS Marketplace integration, we’ve made it easier than ever to get started, and you can get started with actionable dashboards in minutes. Hydrolix is part of the Buy with AWS program, which means you can try Hydrolix for AWS for free or buy from our page, then deploy Hydrolix with just a few clicks.

One of the coolest aspects of our new console is how simple it is to start ingesting new data sources. Currently, we support AWS CloudFront and AWS WAF logs, with more sources on the way in upcoming releases.

When you add a source, Hydrolix automatically:

  • Creates the necessary log transport methods like Kinesis or Data Firehose in your account;
  • Sets up appropriate tables in our system;
  • Applies needed data transformations;
  • Deploys source-specific Grafana dashboards to your organization;
  • Runs end-to-end testing to ensure everything’s working correctly.

The only manual step that is required is pointing your CloudFront distribution to the Kinesis stream we create—everything else happens automatically.

What’s New: The Hydrolix SaaS Console

While our multi-tenant SaaS offering has been in the AWS Marketplace since September, this week’s release includes something we’re particularly excited about: a full SaaS console.

Now, teams can track how much data they’ve ingested across services, add and manage users with customizable roles, easily add new ingest sources, and monitor usage statistics with intuitive visualizations.

The following dashboard shows total usage, including total raw data ingested, stored, and analyzed, so your teams can understand the value of Hydrolix for AWS.

The entire experience is self-service, putting control directly in your hands while maintaining enterprise-grade security and compliance.

Under the Hood: Keeping Data Where It Belongs

We’ve designed this integration with both performance and compliance in mind. Here’s how it works.

The Hydrolix platform and computing resources run in our AWS account. Your processed logs are stored in your own S3 bucket, in your chosen region. This approach keeps your data in your account under your existing AWS policies. Data transfer costs are minimized by keeping everything in the same region.

This architecture gives you the best of both worlds: our managed service expertise without sacrificing data ownership or your security compliance posture.

Built for Growth

This isn’t just about making onboarding faster. We’re also creating a foundation for rapid innovation. Our engineering team has designed Hydrolix for AWS to make adding new data sources a straightforward configuration change rather than a full code deployment. This means we can quickly roll out support for new data sources such as:

  • Elemental MediaLive
  • Elemental MediaPackage
  • Elemental MediaTailor
  • OpenRTB logs
  • Fastly CDN logs
  • Akamai CDN logs
  • Datazoom client logs

You can also try a private offer in the AWS Marketplace to get support for custom data sources.
